I missed the open Alpha they had earlier this year, and it seemed like the pandemic really messed up their development pace. I never dreamed Dk2 would beat it to early access release. :) I nag them on their forums and a recap a couple times last 4 months said they're still working on it.

Icons puts me off that.
It was of course a limitation of the era, but sometimes devs can do creative things without focusing on eye candy. I'm not saying I want Killhouse to do the same, but if you're just gonna do a overhead SWAT game that's virtually identical to DK in play, maybe that's a way to stand out and not be written off as a clone. I wish I'd been able to try HB in the alpha just to see if was fun despite the 1970s graphics decision :)
Interesting, I'm not totally opposed to the icons if the game is good enough, added it to my follow list and will be keeping an eye on it
Yeah in those days (im that old too) but just dont do it for me today.
