Good question. Don't really see the point of crouching.
Because it's one of the most natural things ever to do during firefights. Depending on the situation you won't always stand high and proud even during room clearing, especially when you know threat is inside. I would keep crouching but allow the operatives to use their weapons while doing so. And on top of crouching a really nice thing would be to add peeking from behind corners for slower entries. It'd be especially useful for more quiet entries rather than deliberate, guns-blazing ones.
Really? How many fire fights have you been in at this range?
The game does model shooting behind cover (and I think the assumption is you're sort of crouching behind it though I don't visually see that).
As would I. I'm just saying if they were going to add moving while shooting, they should use it as a feature to distinguish a certain class or squad type. I wouldnt want it to be doable with every operator and weapon type
