Either from bad luck, mismanagement of time and money or incompetence, The game is dead.

If you want to keep your hopes up that one day the devs will just release the finished product out of nowhere, than that's great, fantastic even and i hope one day that happens.

however, lets be realistic here. people are saying things like "early access" or "they are a small team" which normally i would say is a fair excuse as to why the game hasnt come out yet. The only problem with that is this: The first post on their patreon was January 25 2020 (at least that i can see) their MOST recent post to the website that is earning them some money at least (236 members minimum about 150 USD a month net after patreon cut and probably currency exchange fees ) THE MOST RECENT POST ON THAT PLATFORM WAS......

February 18, 2022. at the time of this post it is 09/07/2023 the most current update on STEAM is Game development progress #09 POSTED Thu, January 19 2023 (side note i love this little bit from that "in the past few months, we have focused on the reconstruction.." just sliding over the few months actually being a bit more than half a year ago)

it has now been 8 months since that post. I dont know if the devs died and someone is just leaving it as is and collecting the occasional checks? or what the hell is going on with this dev team. But their game is most certainly dead

better games have been made by teams of fewer people, in less time with less money and far more updates.


LISTEN, i hope to god almighty i'm wrong and the game gets finished and i would love to sing the praises THIS GAME DESERVES

As it stands though? this game is dead and it sucks that the devs if they are still alive and reading these posts dont just update people EVEN IF there is nothing new to say.


but i guarantee you what little money they are getting from steam and other retailers gets updated monthly if not weekly

Given that this is an Early Access game, There needs to be more transparency between the developer and the supporters. The developer can't just go AWOL for months at a time without any news.

Steam also needs to manage these EA titles better. There should be at least a monthly update to let people know what is going on.

At the moment that game is still being sold and there is no ideal if the game is going to be finished. I don't have the game because I asked back in December if the game was still being supported because it look like their posts were from February 2022 on their Patreon.

I know the game got an update in Jan 2023 but come on. It's September now. Who knows maybe they don't have internet at the moment. So they have to go to a internet cafe to post their updates on??

What ever the case, if there isn't any news by December, I will take it off my watchlist.

For me, for an EA game that has been released and especially if it is not a free game at that, the developer should AT MINIMUM be communicating production being done on the game at least once every three months. Not doing this alone is a show that the developer really could care less about their target audience ultimately is my train of thought.

And when you say the game got an update in Jan. 2023, we received communication from the developer that they were working on the game but never received an actual update with the game itself. How long has it been since the game received an actual update of any kind that its players who have paid for the game have actually been able to see and play themselves?

Been saying this for the longest time, this company is completely incompetent when it comes to communicating. For any relationship to work, communication is key, but obviously Aurora Games is oblivious to this fact.

it's fine to speculate on anecdotal evidence if it's going to help you live with the fact this game may never get an update anymore
