Ragdolls are goofy and the game has some glitches and/or oversights, but it doesn't feel like a bad game by any means, just average.
Btw why can't I throw objects that I pick up?
throw?
Yeah, pick up a physics object like a chair, and throw it. You can only pick them up and drop them. No tossing.
That is good enough you can drop it, I guess. :P Making realistic physics is harder than generic graphoxzs, so to make something like speed amplifier + size/weight of the item amplifier to mix together would really request good coding skills, and even though HL2 is imho best who managed to do physics, it's still not really realistic, I'm glad HL2 atleast have lever and cyntrifuge effect. Why not just make the game for free if it's so hated then, it could server better as advertisement then. :P
Generic Graphics easier than realistic physics? Depends on the person working on them.
A programmer and physicist could write a physics engine, but not create art assets, and an artist could but could not program the physics, but some can do both.
Well I kinda remember why I uninstalled it, the level design and difficulty are rather rough around the edges, and while these large maps are very free and open, it doesn't go without saying that the lack of direction as in like.. telling the player to go in a natural way.. really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, but at the same time I feel proud of acomplishing things on my own merits without this, and this is what really sets this game apart: The lack of direction encouraging player improvision. This could have been executed much better however... I would find myself lost after killing everything...
need freeweekends. :P
I'd still like to have freeweekend to form my own opinion about this game.
