Getting stuck at the start of the conversation
rendering a whole story thread impossible to continue.
Installed the update after my first few hours play through

Another problem. -“Steam Deck” Related”-
Game initially interprets the steam deck controls is a gamepad or an Xbox controller.
So manually switching it to the keyboard after everything’s mapped out
Causes it to not read Any input for all controls mapped.
Except the pop up menu
Work-around.
Is mapping the the “D-pad “ inputs up,down,left,right and x
To the “d-pad on the deck.
x(keyboard input) to the x button(on the steam deck)
& x button(Xbox controller), to “R5” button. If the above button fails to register
Is the only way to get back to the working Xbox controls
Because… if I map everything. Switch controls input for “game pad/xbox” to “keyboard”
I can’t do anything to affect the game…
I may have even misremembered multiple steps…. As this is all sorts of confusing

Plus, first time saving on the pad thingys in-game. Causes the screen to freeze for 2 seconds longer. What’s that all about?(For the “Steam Deck” as well)
I pick Save Faye but nothing happen, the enemy keep F her and can't be damage.
When I came back later they both gone.
I assume this is not normal since in 1st map MC immediately kill the enemy after i pick rescue option.
I went with, sparing the dude.
Both thought less of her(Faye & character player is controlling)
Moved on… went back to check on her.
Either were there

I got the necessary snowball to reappear by going to the right side of the screen like I did the first time. It didn't give the feedback but it did make the snowball appear again.
Same here. Additionally none of the dialogue in this screen appears to be voiced.
You would need to go back and trigger the "earthquake" effect on the right again :)

We'll look into this, although we're admittedly not super experienced with the Steam Deck.
Likely just due to generating a new file, etc.
This scene is currently bugged, and will be fixed later today :)

This has been reported yeah, we'll fix it!
The game seems to have its own screenshot saving behaviour with the F12 key, which matches Steam's default screenshot key. This behaviour involves opening a save file dialogue window, which also kicks the game out of fullscreen mode if it was.
Yeah, I realized THAT issue real soon after publishing lol, we'll fix that too and move it to a different key
