Ye, that's how they did it back then for whatever reason, the website is essentially the main menu which then starts what you choose.
But good to know that some people can at least get there, I can't even start the damn game because it doesn't want to use EA App but also doesn't want to use Origin at the same time...

It's a good option to have but thats what it should be, an option, like on Battlefield 4, having it be the only way to play introduces too many issues.

BF4 got patched years after to have an actual main menu, prior it had been battlelog only aswell.
Hardline never received that facelift tho

Just launch the game through "battlelog.battlefield.com/bfh/servers" - the game was developed quite a long time ago and at that time the developers considered it very convenient to launch the server directly instead of the Menu. The solo campaign must also be launched via battlelog.battlefield.com/bfh/campaign. Check your browser version, update the browser and set it to default, the game needs to allow various COOKIES and other permissions when starting. The game can also be launched directly via STEAM, but you need to log in to the browser using your EA account login and password. Good luck to everyone in the battle! HARDLINE - The game is simply great!

This sure does sound exactly how a HR/PR person for EA would try to do damage control after they realize how illegal it is to sell a product then immediately violate that license they sold the person to play the game they now can no longer play. The game is not simply great, it no longer launches due to EA changing the app AGAIN...and now making a patch file to fix this obvious issue everybody at EA knew would occur...


Everything you just suggested? does not work and you know that, so why are you gas lighting after all this time? the game should not have to launch this way, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2024....come on...


either way, i will be putting a huge negative review to this game as im sure, many more EA titles are about to also get axed and im sure both steam and EA are in on it and will seel the games anyways because...who cares right?

Im not a dev, im justa FAN OF THIS SERIES OF BF 4 and HARDLINE. After Real Dev's Battlefield 2042 total destruction (or annihilation - better match) "say hello to 7th season as Last" I swear that the BF4 and BF Hardline is the PEAK of EA Dev's Level! And i hope you and others will still have time to fix calculators to play these masterpieces.

It works fine with the new app. There's something wrong on your end.

u had to pick a server from the browser and then it launches the game
