Cannot launch the game

I have an issue launching the game. When I click PLAY on Steam it opens EA App, redirects me to Batllelog page and then when I want to launch the campaign is says Initializing, keeps spinning and nothing happens.

My steam says I've played this game for half an hour and I couldn't even see the opening credits....

Same issue with me I was able to play last time I launch which was last year for 2 hrs when I got ea play on steam. But this year when i bought battlefield 3, 4 and hardline I am having same issue in all 3

you need to open the EA App on your pc and start them from there , for BFH it will open a web browser and thats where you join a server from and the game launches.

already tried still same issue it wont laucnh game after opening website

I was having difficulty launching the campaign - I'd start from my Steam library, it would auto-sign me into my already linked EA app and also launch Battlelog which I was already logged into previous. When I tried to launch the campaign though, it would say to start Origin which doesn't exist now.

So what I did was close Battlelog and manually sign out of the EA App and then sign back in. I then launched the game again and was able to launch through Battlelog after that. For some reason it wouldn't launch in the first instance when it automatically signed me into the EA App.

A decade on and I still can't fathom what EA were thinking launching a game through a website. They fixed BF4 but Hardline was neglected.

What seemed to work for me was closing EA's app and then going here:
https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bfh/
Then launching the game that way. Click "Play Campaign" then it will pop up a window. Click "Start Origin". It will launch the EA app and then the game..... at least it should.

for me it opens everything other then the game

what worked for me is signing out, then reseting pc then signing in. Then launch the game through the EA app NOT THE BROSWER UNTIL THE EA APP SENDS YOU TO THE BROSWER LAUNCHER!! anyways, it works for me
