Game won't launch
I bought this yesterday and it won't launch at all; it says joining server but the game never starts up. For the Campaign, the game does pop up but as soon as it loads, it just minimizes and stops working. My gaming laptop can run games like this well but I don't know what to do. I need help please.

Make an exception in your anti virus.

I did; nothing worked. Keeps sending me back to Origin and I even launched through Origin only to need Steam up. The game either launches then minimizes or it just doesn't start at off

Launch the Campaign first, then Multiplayer should launch fine.

I'll try after the re-install

Not even starting up the campaign works; the game refuses to start despite saying "Initializing"...

Update: The game launches then crashes during the black loading screen

Well, I got mine to work:

Avast, the anti-virus program, blocks the game for some reason if your protection shields are still up. So, to get around this, you have to take down the Anti-Virus shields so you can actually play the game IF and only IF you have an anti-virus program that blocks it. I have tried to look for a way for Avast to ignore and not block it but to no avail so far.

If you have Avast and ONLY if you do, if you can't find a way to let the shields give Battlefield Hardline a pass, just take down the Anti-Virus shields for a bit. ONLY if you have Avast Anti-Virus.

For other issues, I'm not sure if they will patch it or not; probably not but it would not be a surprise since Origin, Battlelog and other programs have been known to cause people grief.

However, my game now works and it's thanks to accidentally discovering the fact that my anti-virus program has been blocking it repeatedly without warning.

I have Avast anti-virus too, disabled it and it's still doing the same thing as before

Finally I can play with anti-virus disable.

What exactly is happening when you try to play it?

Is it launching Origin too then Battlelog then crashing? Is it just not even loading?

There's a lot of issues going around regarding these events so if you share it with us, I bet all of us would be more than happy to help solve the problem for ya. :)

I'll tell you step by step what is happening for me, but I think it's the exact same problem as what you're having.

First it opens the BattleLog website, then when I try either loading up the campaign or loading into a server, nothing happens for a while, then the games opens for a couple of seconds with a black loading screen and then it crashes and goes to the Origin launcher.
