Black Screen UI bug

Anyone else having a bug right now where your UI is completely black but the text still shows up?

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Just bought the game and was gonna post this. Absoultely ridiculous that this has been going on for years and still no solution. Hopefully it will be fixed soon somehow.

Agreed, tho I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the Apex hack that happened recently. I would steer clear of EA games at the moment until a fix has been announced!

Delete the folder "twinkles" in C/My documents/Battlefield 1

just found a way to fix it properly. yeah you have to delete the folder and then you repair it on steam. you boot the game then dont update, start a new singleplayer game, stay there for 5 minutes. restart the game and update it for online and there you go.

As much as I'm aware, right now every battlefield games has problems with launch through steam and properly working (including black screens), I had the same. I appreciate everyone for coming up with ideas on how to fix it, but I suggest that we push EA to fix their garbages rather than we do it on our own, each everyone of you here has paid them at least a good portion of money for them to their job and this shouldn't be our concern.

So guys. I downloaded the game on another pc and the menu was fine. I came back to my pc and the menu is fixed thankfully. Maybe it's random. I read on an EA forum that someone else had the same problem now and then and it got fixed by its own after some days. Maybe it's indeed random and it gets fixed after a while.

Yeah can also confirm it fixed itself. Very weird. Does anyone know if the Apex Legends hack that recently happened is affecting BF1 and 5?

I'm on the verge of getting a refund because of this crap, still having issues with this black screen where you can't see no cosmetics on the menu. No clear solutions online from what I can tell
