you can dual boot windows on the deck, get a SD card that will boot windows + have games on it that have kernel level anti-cheat like bf1 and keep the penguin on the nvme internal, switch between them on a dual boot, there u go now u got you're moneys worth and now u can play every windows game.
Don’t have a steam deck I use Linux on my pc. Dual booting is too much of a hastle and I want the storage having windows takes up.

Instead of using dual boot use a KVM which is a virtual machine for windows 10 but you passthrough your GPU and manufacturing IDs and info so it's passed off as a real PC so you play your windows games, other than that I don't know what to tell you. Battlefield 1 on Series X has a FPS boost mode that can let u go 1080p 120fps at all times but if u don't own a series s|x then just get a refund and play a non-ea game. Sorry this happens to the Linux folk the most, yall don't deserve this treatment at all.

A game that supports Linux I can suggest to you that has the BF1 and BF4 feel is BattleBit Remastered, has full Linux support via proton but make sure to install EAC linux steam runtime for it to work, Prox voice chat, and can run on a potato.

I also recently went linux since it is easier to tweak existing features and add them onto a modular system that is coherently designed, than it is to go across 20 ad-filled control panels that do the same job, reg edit and powershell to make win10-11 not trash.

Yeah I have an old gt720 laying around for pass through. I also do play battle bit and it’s pretty fun the only problem is the no life sweats on a causal battlefield game.

then instead of passing through ur old gpu make a vm that will passthrough your current gpu and boot windows 10 on it. Problem solved.

Yeah that was the plan. I’m gonna pass through my main gpu but use the old one as a secondary card

Brother you think that's bad I was playing the game and it bluescreened my computer now I can't access my (D:) drive and file explorer won't even open properly.

What does this have anything to do with the conversation? I mean sucks that it happened. Maybe try and backup any files and reinstall (When you reinstall I'd recommend Rufus because you can auto disable the spying and make a local acc very easily)
