Update: I solved it in a different way but also thanks to @TwelvePans with the solution

My steps were
Device manager --> Search for the following tabs --> Storage controllers & USB's & Ports

Even if you've uninstalled daemon tools it still has extensions in these tabs. You need to unistall them one by one through this screen. I did it and found extensions in 3 of these tabs you can check each tab just to be sure and make sure there are no daemon tools related things left. Worked for me.

I have the same problem. Haven't installed or changed anything but the game was working fine this morning.

update: downloaded and installed both reWASD and Deamon tools, then uninstalled them through another program called Revo uninstaller, and the game launches now.

Revo uninstaller completely wiped them from the registry, so my best guess is that something in there was triggering the EA anticheat.

I have the same issue. I tried using Revo to uninstall it, reboot my computer and the message still shows up.

It's weird because I was playing just fine yesterday night? I don't know what else to do, maybe uninstall/install the game again?

I searched through the Device Manager, but I didn't find any daemon properties. and game still not running!

Sorry to hear that. Have you checked all of the categories under device manager ?

yeah i searched the whole device managers and my folders, non found "(

I took the other approach and uninstalled the game. There's absolutely no justifiable reason as to why i'd have to uninstall Daemon Tools Lite to play a game single player.

NO thanks!
