Where is everyone

Is everyone playing single player? I see no one playing multiplayer even though there is 10k players online

Ya might want to click this little tab called "server browser" in multiplayer.

You'll be surprised to find out that almost every server in that long ass list is full.

Crazy i know.

I bought this on steam because I saw the price and when I first went to play operations (my favorite thing about BF1) the normal join operations map kept putting me in games by myself. Then I went to server browser and there was at least 10-12 servers with at least 50ish players in my region playing operations. So yeah, you need to use server browser to play this because the matchmaking is broken apparently and won't put you in a populated server. Doubt they'll fix that issue either considering the game's age.

It's not that the matchmaking is broken per se, it's just that quick play prioritizes getting you into a match ASAP, and it's just so happens that that the only servers with actual free slots most of the time are empty ones that are just kind of there, dormant.
It's just a not well thought out system.
