switching to DirectX11 has seemed to make it better but I still get the occasional restart when I close the game
I think everyone having this issue should check out the software GPU-Z - Sensors tab and see what your PC is doing while this game runs.
DX11 is the counter to this, but DX12 is meant to be low latency; :/
It's a risk, but I was initially actually playing the game, and mid-game in 1-2 maps, the PC just restarts. . not when launching,
So I can also recommend, latest Vcredist Redistributables - > https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/
Try running the Exe as admin,
BF1 is an amazing game, when it works; GTX1070 killed it. Even in DX12.
Turning on that setting in windows seemed to have fixed it tho!
