EA app restarting after loading game.

I don't make many discussions about tech issues, but this is just something I cannot seem to fix.

I bought the game yesterday, spent the entirety of today downloading it, only to find that it won't actually load after pressing play. The EA app starts up fine, The splash screen boots up, the bar progresses until it's full, and then the EA app restarts, alongside closing the splash screen for BF1.

I've tried;
- Letting both the anti cheat and BF1 application through my firewall
- Reinstalling EA anticheat + EA Client
- verifying the game files of BF1 (Something I've noticed will be below)
- Running most programs as an admin/compatibility mode/windows optimizations turned off etc.

When verifying the files after reinstalling and repairing the anticheat, steam usually says there are three files missing from the game's intended files, and reinstalls them. I'm not sure if it's affecting the game, but I believe the issue might be related to the EA app?? Any help is appreciated.

exactly the same problem ... i just loads doesnt start fade aaway nothing happens,
sometimes the EA app stays just on lol

Go to game folder
Run "EAAntiCheat.Installer.Tool.exe" inside EAAntiCheat folder and click repair

Any news? I Have t the same problem, for me it even shows an error saying I need to repair. Same 3 files

everytime i want to play i have to repair anticheat it works tho

I had the same issue and this is what FIXED it. Go into programs and repair ALL C++ Microsoft redistribution files. Then restart your computer. Worked fine after.

I tried that, and I tried reinstalling the AntiCheat as well. Didn't work.

Can anybody that fixed this problem please confirm what windows do they have? I'm using windows10 and I'm thinking that it's the problem, maybe I need to upgrade to windows 11?

after i upgraded to window 11 i have this issue
even with other games

I just installed BF5 too and a similar problem is happening, it just closes with no error after the splash screen and displays the EA app

the funny thing is i tried that too and bf5 is working just fine ... lol
the only difference is i bought bf5 via EA not via steam ...
