DirectX Error crashing the game
I am using a RX 6650 XT. Since I started playing this game more I had problems with the game crashing usually inbetween rounds, but every now and then it also crashed during the game wich pisses me off quite a bit. Does anybody know what I can do to fix this?

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. GPU: "", Driver: "25.3.1 (24.30.31.03-250225a-412790C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition)". This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers. Also, make sure you have supported graphics card with at least 1024 MB of VRAM

I have tried using older drivers but nothing seems to help. my driver also doesn't seem to crash as I don't have anything funny going on on my screen and neither am I getting a notification for a crash.

I am getting this error as well. The screen freezes (which basically means the game is over) and when I get to windows there is that error in a little box on the screen. I never got that error before. I do not play this game very frequently and since the last time I played (where everything went smoothly) I have moved the location of the game (using the steam client) and installed the latest AMD graphic drivers.

But to sum it up from top comment:

"Disable directx 12 in settings: -Open BF1 folder in documents -go into the settings folder -open PROFSAVE_profile with notepad -change the value of dx12 enabled from 1 to 0 -save the change made. This worked for me. Dx 12 is bugged when enabled for some."
