I'd rather have an anti-cheat in place, than admins who either go power hungry/lazy and the fact they are human and need to sleep/eat, so there's virtually less guarantee of quality ant-cheat via human admins in this day and age (especially on BF).
That being said, EA, as usual needs to really, and I mean really sort their sh*t out when it comes to not only their app, but their anti-cheat and server support (seriously, their "official" servers switch off mostly for the EU during 10-11pm, and you're basically SoL and stuck with turk servers only, despite being in the UK/Ireland).
I get that it's an old game, but switching servers to very minute and selective regions in the EU is possibly THE dumbest thing I have ever seen any big publisher do. Imagine Valve just limiting official TF2 servers to just Turkey for the entirety of the EU at night time, sod every other EU region, amarite?.
