I've played mostly Red Orchestra, Squad, Arma, Escape from tarkov etc for a few years. BF1 and Enlisted are the only less "realistic" titles I really like. I had played it during the betas a long time ago, had to pick it up for only $2 with dlc. The other modern battlefield titles just don't interest me in the slightest. I don't play COD either.

The setting, All the cool vehicles and weapons, runs great, and it doesn't hurt that plenty of people are playing. On the only AIR ASSAULT server right now, which is awesome...

Yes BF3 (and to a lesser extent 4) were amazing games back in the day, and in a sense still hold up to this day, even though the player numbers clearly favour BF1.

Als have you tried playing BC2 recently? The movement is ackward as hell, and it was a glorified console port. There is nothing BC2 (besides the campaign) that parts of BF3 or BF4 didn't do better.

Only bad players care about "muh immersion". Never said bad company 2 is better than bf3 or bf4. Yes movement was much worse but it had very good maps designed for rush and didnt have the same vehicle cancer as later games, overall a very outdated but much more balanced experience.

BF1 is just straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, graphics are irrelevant, the gameplay sucks ass.

What's the problem of someone not being good or being mediocre and liking the game only due immersion and pure fun? I'll tell you a little something, not all the players of multiplayer games have a competitive mindset and they're are as legit players as the "hardcore" ones like you. You are not above nobody just because you tryhard in an online shooter.

Unfortunately, your way of thinking expired a long time ago. The game you have in mind is just a dry, gunplay-focused experience with nothing else to offer—sure, that was exciting… back in the 1990s, not now.

And well, you must be a genius to play 50+ hours of Battlefield 1 and completely ignore its atmosphere, music, graphics, weapon and vehicle variety, and only focus on gunplay.

Also, if you ever decide to use that brain of yours, maybe you'd realize this game is set in World War 1—so expecting modern weapons from it is kind of ridiculous
