How would you rate the story mode?

Is it worth buying the game just for the story?

I know it only costs 2 euros

I don't play multiplayer

for only 2$ the story mode is definetly worth it. it's not long but it's definetly long enough to justify such a low price.

the singleplayer campaign is split to 5 mini campaigns, each with their own stand alone story, some or good, some are lame, but they're all fun
plus there's also an intro mission which is just pure kino

and who knows, after you'll be done with the singleplayer you might like the multiplayer, it's very fun and you can help your team even if you're not a skilled shooter

Campaign is basically just multiplayer tasks but with bots and a few cinematic moments sprinkled inbetween. It's not particularly interesting or engaging.

ya the multiplayer is a blast. bf1 has imo the best atmosphere of any battlefiled game.

I really love the story that BF1 has, the different regions of the war and different characters really immerse you well into the whole story of WW1. Even though not 100% historically accurate that's expected with games like these. And the multiplayer is also awesome.

No, only 1 campaing is good (about tank). Buy it for easy multiplayer.

I just bought it with that mind set . I am happy with the story . But the MP is good in the morning for me in the east coast U.S. ! Later in the day though .....I spawn turn to look where I want to run and instantly dead . Does not seem to matter who or where I spawn , just insta dead by the guy that has 150 kills to 4 deaths . I would never accuse THAT guy of cheating . There is at least one on every map I join so far . I spectate them and watch as they hit q from behind a dirt hill and highlight 5-6 enemies at once . Then they just walk over the burm with a shot gun and level entire squads in seconds . Then just casually run to the next flag and do it all over again . There level 150 but something seems very off to me with this . Knowing maps is like 90% of being good at any shooter . I dont think this is the case here . But I am new still . I will try hard to keep an open mind . But just going by the past with EA and BF series alone , I wont hold my breath .
