i think this cpu should't bottlenecking gtx 1050, so maybe not enough ram or try installing on ssd
klajuh Oct 25, 2024 @ 11:45am
is it 8gb in one stick? or 2x4?
Redvirus3841 Oct 25, 2024 @ 11:48am
2x4 , as in my laptop , 1 4gb is built in and 1 4g is upgradable , i am planing to get 16 to be x2 4+16

I was using similar gpu (1050 Ti) 7 years ago combined with i7 7700k and i had around 100 fps as i remember. But playing on very low detail and my monitor resolution was 1680x1050. Set all graphics settings on low, only textures to medium and maybe antialiasing to FXAA. Your gpu is really weak even for this old game if you want stable FPS, 8 gb ram was not a problem for this game. Your gpu is weak.
GF 1070 or 2060 are perfect gpu's for this game if you are on very low budget.

Well , after upgrading to double of the Ram i am now getting stable fps ،some few few drops because of thermal throttling, so consider a good cooling is important.
