If your game does not start (closes after the bf1 launcher), try this

I had this problem and I did couple of things, not sure what exactly fixed it but I think I have a good guess:

- Im using Comodo Firewall, turning it off for 15 minutes only to start the game fixed it for me, worked 100% of attempts for now. If you have any other antivirus it probably has an option to turn it off for couple of minutes, try running bf1 after that

-Go to: Steam folder > steamapps > common > Battlefield 1

right click on bf1.exe > properties > compatibility > mark the box with "run as administrator"

right click on EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher > properties > compatibility > mark the boxes with "run as administrator" AND "disable fullscreen optimizations"

- in the same folder mentioned earlier you can go to "EAAntiCheat" folder, run EAAntiCheat.Installer and reinstall anticheat for bf1

- reinstall bf1 (I dont think it actually changes anything but its always worth to try)

- I've also updated my windows and nvidia drivers

- After these changes Im starting bf1 through steam, not EA, I dont know if it makes a difference

Stuff that I have not checked personally if it works

- Downloading the latest version of the Visual C++ Redistributable from the microsoft website (both x86 and x64 versions).

- One more thing I've seen people were talking about was deleting the file "CryptBase.dll" in BF1 installation folder but also alot of people incuding me did not have that file anyway so cant confirm if it works

Its been couple of days already and I've just checked if the game fixed itself and it did not. I still have to turn off my comodo firewall before starting bf. If you already tried turning off your antivirus and it did not worked and you dont have any other program for internet/virus protection, you could also try turning off your windows firewall for couple of minutes. I dont have any more ideas but from my personal experience it is protection related program that blocked the new anticheat.
