Game freezes every 10 seconds

Just remove the new anti-cheat from BF1, it's not working anyway, just ruined the perfomance.

Go inside your game directory and run the EA anti cheat installer, and select the update option, there was an update for EAAC which reduces the performance impact.

I was about to make a post on that, i'm also getting a lot of these lately, game's freezing like crazy on my ryzen 3 4100. I've done all of the repair and update sh*t, nothing happened, same thing.

Same as this ^ but select uninstall, but good luck getting into a server with it uninstalled.

I was always on DX11. DX12 is just buggy and laggy. Been playing this game years before the anti-cheat coming. We all know the new anti-cheat caused all the performance issue. So just stop giving suggestions about graphics settings. And no, updating/repairing the anti-cheat doesn't work either.

Have to wonder what EA's actual motivation for suddenly after 8 years forcing EA anticheat in bf1.

The cheaters are still there, so all it's doing now is cause performance problems

There is some serious issue with the new Anti Cheat, ever since the update the game freezes for a brief moment at random times as the CPU is fully utilized by the AC doing who knows what in the background, this doesn't just affect the game but the entire system, everything just freezes briefly. I'm a bit afraid to track down what exactly is going on with the AC but I also don't want to get banned, I actually like this game.
