Hows the hackers situation?

I miss this game heavy used to play on console for hours. Im curious how is the cheating in this game, does it make it unplayable? I know theres obviously a few every match but is it still worth the buy?

The past 20 games ive played on US and Germany community hosted servers have been cheater free but you will eventually run into a blatant cheater most likely on servers starting with "DICE" and it could be a speedhack invisible cheater or someone who spawned in an elite kit on a map that doesnt belong,
Its mostly the community run servers that will have active admins and players to report cheaters via discord but DICE servers are hit or miss.

There are also many populated servers, some you have to wait in queue but theres plenty to join and in my opinion its still worth to buy but tbh whenever theres a sale on steam, it goes for $5 with the complete map DLCs, along with other battlefield franchise except for bf2042 iirc.

just play on community servers and hackers are relatively rare. on official servers its common

hackers still exist in the game but its not as widespread as BFV

They usually on Asian servers, just mostly toogle and aim lock. Spectate a few of them just to make sure that i'm not crazy. And they just 3v1 snapping everyone in the room. Or medic running Farquhar Hill constantly 2 shotting you. If not that, it's some tank player that use it to snipe people in the distance

do not go to asian servers suddenly like multiple hackers join and aimbot everyone usually happens in 10pm in japanese servers

Yeah agree. Can't find any server in asian region that ban smg08, A10 shotgun or explosive. Yet they will auto kick you if you use the flash flare, which is quite affective as annoying people so they stop camping corners with explosives
