Have you tried to play on community servers? There are a lot of them, there are no hackers. EA give up on this game, but community still stands

ЕА doesnt care, this is old game.
SOme private servers can ban u for positive KDA (on bomber, tank, etc) Rage kiddos admins

EA dropped online-support a long time ago. They won't reissue it for an almost 8 year old game. There is a small chance that when they give the game a seasonal discount, MAYBE they will briefly pay attention to hackers. But I doubt it.
Try community/private servers for now.

i did my first game on pc today and did a community server, 0 hackers. don't play official servers.

Apart from the fact that 99% of all cheater claims in PvP games are wrong - look for proper community servers. Ideally with active moderation.

Do not play on Official servers, play on custom servers that you can find on the server browser. Most are moderated so it is uncommon for cheaters to be in them

I’m new to this. What do you mean moderated? I just jump on any old server. I can only see about 5 servers on BF1. I’ve tried filtering them but that’s all I see.

Just avoid all the [DICE] Official ones. Join the ones that have custom names like BOB, Saltynoobs, etc. Those are most likely to have moderators / people to report cheaters to.
