"Please Repair Your Game Installation & Try Again"
Anyone ever had to deal with this problem? I Googled it and found some forums saying stuff about how Frosty Mod Manager for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 was causing problems for Battlefield 1. I did what the advice suggested: uninstall BF1 and do a clean install, disable all mods for Frosty for SW BF2, then run BF1. It still said the same "Please Repair Your Game Installation & Try Again" thing. On my latest install, I even switched discs. SWBF2 is on Disc C; BF1 was on Disc C as well, but in my reinstall I even moved it to Disc E so it wouldn't be on the same disc as SWBF2.

Anyone know how to fix this? :(

I swear if I need to uninstall SWBF2 just to play BF1 after all the work I made on modding it, ugh!

Battlefield 1 and 5 both worked when I migrated from Origin to EA app. After some update last month for the app, both stopped working. Just gonna assume it won't be fixed, been over month now. Will never buy an EA game again.

Back with Origin, I had the issue of SWBF2 not working at all and saying it was running but then suddenly say it wasn't running anymore before the loading screen even came up. Went to log onto Origin over a week ago and it gave me the prompt to convert into the EA app, so with this change I took a shot and installing BF2 again and this time it actually ran.

EA app has issues, but I'm not sure I want to return to Origins.

Managed to fix it by removing remnants of Frosty Mod Manager, game actually launches now

What do you mean by remnants? What are those and how do I remove them? I'm currently using FMM for my SWBF2 mods.
