Is BF1 better than BF5?

When I first loaded Battlefield V I was very impressed by some of the changes made. It was new, fresh and I had spent a lot of time in Battlefield 1. However after a relatively short duration of play with Battlefield V I realized that Battlefield 1 was better. I can't put my finger on any one thing because it is not any one thing.

Battlefield 1 is brawny. Battlefield V is effeminate.

Battlefield 1 had perfected TTK. Battlefield V's rate of fire and TTK balancing was not of the best quality.

The two things which really bothered me enough to say, "this one's not for me" was the Garand and an under emphasis on ironsights.

The overall historal accuracy issues led to an immersion problem. Copable, like with cinnamon or something added to it, but not the best taste when you want a good solid cup of coffee.

BF1 has pretty much been the back bone of the Battlefield franchise, along with Bad Company 2 that one's pretty good too. BF5 is just a huge falloff from the games before. BF1 is alot more casual while BF5 is for competitive players or hackers. Hackers are a big problem for Battlefield and BF5 got the shortest stick, every round either has at least 1 hacker or someone whose been playing since release. The only real improvement is the engine it uses and graphics; Plus it's just another WW2 FPS, there are hundreds of them and a lot of them are a lot better. BF5 is twice as frustrating because everyone there is either hacking or have been playing since launch and is spamming maxed out bombers.
At least in BF1 you had a better chance of taking armored vehicles down.

I play both quite a lot on PC and Xbox. For me BF1 is the better game but the spotting system is awful. Although BF1 is a good game in never feel's liek a true BF game at all, its like BF merged with Cod, I feel BF4 was the last BF to even get close to the old 1942, BF2 games.

BF1 has way more maps, looks better in my opinion and it runs way smoother
