Need help with graphic settings - too bright, white light, too dark, cant see outside etc.

Is there a fix for it or is this a bad game design? I have problems with all of sorts of graphical "glitches" (I dont know how to call it). I tried to played everything on ultra and low as well. Results are the same. Please check screenshots at the link (imgur).

That's fog, fog does that. You could try to default the settings to like Medium and see if it changes anything. I am guessing you are yet to play Prise de Tahure, the map half the playerbase complains they can't see anything, because it's you know, night.
