Requires Origin login
I encountered this problem, it doesn’t work, it doesn’t enter multiplayer, I tried to restart the computer, it doesn’t help

Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required.
Requires 3rd-Party Account: EA Account (Supports Linking to Steam Account)

To load the game, you need to login to Battlelog.Battlefield.com with your EA Account as BF3 uses a web-based launcher.

I'm logged in in Battlelog. This message is popping up when I want to join a server.

I'm launching the game via Steam. Its loading the EA app, then starting Battlelog via my standard browser.
When I select a server and want to join, the message is coming up.

I used to work yesterday.

Im having the same issue and everything was working fine for the past few days, wtf is happening now?? I reinstalled BF3, reinstalled EA app, still no solution! I cleared ProgramData EA Core / EA folders, licenses, I installed Chrome, i restarted PC, all of these are not helping and issue is still here, Error : Login to Origin
Yesterday was fine, today same error like above.

- Deleted browser histroy, cookies etc
- Reinstalled BF3 on different drive
- Deleted and reinstalled EA APP
- Tried multiple browsers
- Deleted license files

No fix yet....

Just now tried that:

1) I click to EA App in tray, select "Log out" there.
2) Login to EA App.
3) Click "Join Server" in Battlelog.

And after that game has started, without this error with Origin.

Also my friend tried same actions and confirmed that it helps.
I can confirm that the log out method works!

He means Log out of your EA Account in the EA App, Then log in to your EA Account again ( I think )

- Launch BF3 through steam, this opens the battlelog webpage and the EA app.
- Now sign out of the EA app and log back in, this would fix the "Requires Origin login" issue.

I understand but I use steam for EA app, if i log out what account info did steam use to create my EA account?

You can try to start BF3 from steam, then open de EA app and click on your Gamertag in top right corner.
Then press settings and in the next screen under your gamertag on manage, you should see your email adress that is used.
