How do you get good at a game like this?

I know skill issue haha, but seriously are there any good tutorials or is there a specific training mode on extreme difficulty or some ♥♥♥♥ I gotta do before I play?

I usually can't see ♥♥♥♥, situational awareness is low cuz I don't know the map yet, don't know which guns are the best, etc.

With my nearly 50 hours in battlefield 4 I advise you to constantly look at the radar. You don’t see a guy while being on a point, or in a building, look at the radar !, and always stay in cover when you are defending a point. When you use a jet change the bind "pitch up" to "spacebar". Only tap or burst guns, the guns have crazy bloom and are like the early morning piss, shoot out flares right before the missile hits you, and abuse the ♥♥♥♥ out of vehicles, you have no chance of outrunning a vehicle when nearly every building is destructible

I can train you how to play this game. after over 2000 hours on this game I know a lot however it's not easy to just write everything in a comment

Just playe it

1/ Play RUSH MODE and focus on objectives

Dont focus on Kill Death ratio, focus on winning game, arming MCOM and defending it when is armed (or defusing if you are defenders side)

Some weapon are situational, use them well, sometimes your team need suppression so pick support class with big LMG drop ammo.., throw grenades (with some perk u can have 2+), sometimes you need smoke so pick medic with M320 Smoke (unlocked pretty quickly) and revive (playing MEdic in bf3 is actually very fun, you can revive whole squad pretty quickly suddenly outnumber enemy locally..)

WHen you play sniper (i play as commando) , focus on flanking enemy and place beacon on good position - close to mcom or behind enemy lanes in building so they dont nned prachute but spwan directly, so u can break-thru

like when you play Metro for example it is good to ask teammates for smoke and u pick sniper so u place beacon behind enemy lanes, or u pick medic smoke alone and just wait for your squad mates to spawn on u and take MCOM :D

Or place beacon as sniper near front-line and try push enemy with c4 rain (parachuting as support ) :D


You dont need best weapons, you should focus on learning map and strategy, where you should help strike, when is better use flank and when is moment for break-thru

For example on Seine Crossing it is sometimes good strategy spawn in vehicle and rush over to enemy back and cut him from reinforcements (if u not main driver jump over and place beacon behind enemy lanes)

Sometime enemy focus too much on side and back , so well placed grenade from front can clear ur way , then make some chaos with smoke and when mcom is amred hide in corner and squadmates spawn on u and u can defend mcom together....
