Battlefield 3 CO-OP Problems

Anyone else have problems with co-op not working? If I go to join with a friend it sometimes won't work but will with another friend. Just happened before and I asked what version they had and they said the Origin one. Maybe it's a Steam BF3/Origin BF3 mismatch causing the problem. Also we were using different browsers, maybe has something to do with it.

Sucks the Steam version is so buggy

Its EA problem on PC, not Steam( Im too cant connect to buddy, dont know how to fix that

COOP is hit and miss on PC, some days it works flawlessly some days it refuses to work flawlessly

correct, I've got 10 service stars in coop and I played it again a few days ago
