- No luck
My OS is the latest Win10 version if that matters. And I hit the requirements of the game (not really hard for a game this age lol)
//Battlelog
When I try to join a server via battlelog it just ends up with "Joining Server". Which is quite normal except the fact that BF3 doesn't start up. After 5min or sth. a message pops up saying that "something went wrong".
//Steam
However when I try to start the game out of my steam library it loads for 1-2sec and then automaticly closes with no error message what so ever. No matter what I do it will just quit.
//Origin
When I try to start from origin, steam realizes that and changes my status to "playing BF3". This state stays until I end "BF3WebHelper.exe" via Taskmgr.
Side note: "BF3WebHelper.exe" does neither start up when trying via Battelog nor when trying via Steam.
I already tried:
Oh one note: I have a Pihole running in my network, but my wife had no problems launching the game (Non Steam version) So that should not interfere as I guess.
<edit>
Yes i had it on Origin before and I already have played that game (not sure if on this PC though)
I dont know what the"Nahimic" Software is acutually could you explain a little bit please?
I already uninstalled the Origin version and tried to verify sadly :/

Nahimic is an Audio Program which causes Bf3 to crash (I asked because I had a similiar Problem and it was caused by Nahimic (but does not seem to be the case here)).
I had already seen that thread, but didn't think it'll apply to my problem as origin is there crashin not Battlefield, but I will look another time into that, thanks! :)
I have already tried everything I could find, even reinstalled the system, tried to remove everything and put it from scratch, updated the video drivers and direct x. I don't know what else to do. It stopped running suddenly - I don't know what I did wrong or what I installed, there seems to be nothing unusual...
Finally found a solution. Strange, but I already did it and it didn't help... Apparently after reinstalling the system, something changed Confused
Deleted from the directory C:\Users\User name\Documents\Battlefield 3\settings four files:
PROF_SAVE_body
PROF_SAVE_header
PROF_SAVE_profile
PROF_SAVE_profile.raptr_1382902273
Where the fourth came from I don't understand...
Maybe that was the problem.
After zapkska game and several minutes of the game, I saw that the first three files were restored (settings), and the fourth was not.
