wheel and shifter support?

I tried the original on PS3 way back when, it did work with my G25 wheel, but it forced you to use auto trans, no shifting is a no buy for me, I HATE auto trans in a game
is the remaster the same? does it support Fanatec V2.5?
I am looking for something arcade like Wreckfest, just to drive around in a fun open world

Honestly, Criterion Elite is all I need. I don't really give a $#!+ about multiplayer.

You want my opinion? Manual gears are NOT fun, TO ME. Automatic is perfectly fine as far as I care. I'm NOT trying to force it on anyone, unlike 4speed is trying to do with manual transmissions.

If not for that post, this thread could have easily ended before it got to this. But THAT post was just so utterly WRONG that it had to be responded to.

Good luck with that, considering that all cars in this game were made with "infinite" transmissions, that never seem to run out of gears to shift up to.

Again, is that really relevant here? Does every game need to have the EXACT SAME features as everything else?

Just accept that Criterion willingly CHOSE, as a DELIBERATE design decision, on THEIR part, to not have manual gears in Burnout Paradise. They weren't thinking about anyone specifically when they did that, they did it for themselves.

yes, ALL racing games should give the OPTION to use auto OR manual trans
as nearly every other game does, there is NO legitimate reason for burnout to lack this very basic feature, the lack of basic features NEVER makes a game better
