what to do in this game

i never played any burnout games or whatever i just hopped on this one and drive around until a stop light indicated that it's a race, it's a bit confusing someone please inlighten me

every traffic light has an event, all containing 5 types of events: red is road rage, where you have to takedown other opponents to reach the target score, before the time runs out, or you get destroyed. yellow is marked man, where a bunch of cars attemp to shut down your car. its essentially road rage, except you have to get from one point to another, instead of taking down a number of opponents, and theres no timer. blue is races, where you race from one point to another and- well, if you play racing games, you should know what races are. orange is basically time trial, but for specific cars, where you will get a special version of that car. and green is stunt, where you do enough stunts to reach the target score. to start an event, drive up to one, and spin your wheels! (throttle and brakes button) there are also a bunch of collectables scattered around the map, like smashes, billboards, and super jumps. road rules are where you, well, rule a road! you can set a timed road rule, which is basically just time trial, but on a road, and showtime road rule, where you press the left and right bumpers to start it, (idk what it is on keyboard) and basically cause mayhem. dont let your boost drain, otherwise the showtime will stop! thats all i have for today. hope you have fun playing this game!
