game crash once i connect my xbox controller??

So just as everyone else i have been having game crash issues,only thing i have tried so far is running EA in offline mode, but as soon as i connected my Xbox Elite Series 2 to my PC the game crashed on the loading screen, to further try to prove my point i disconnected my controller again, and rebooted, as i got past the main load screen and was at the vehicle selection i turned my controller back on, as soon as it connected the game crashed, i have also tried loading the game after the controller was connected, that crashes the instant the paradise city load pops up, gonna try some other things but hope this helps guide some others with their problems.



UPDATE: i did a full windows reset of my PC and now the game is working with 0 issue

Thanks for the update, but a full windows reset is not an acceptable 'fix' for everyone.

for everybody who has the same problem, try to start burnout paradise without your xbox controller, then the game starts. you can connect the controller after you see the ea logo and play with the controller withou any problems.. i had the sam issue with starting the game and crashes, it seems, the controller causes the issue with the startup from the game.
