Is it worth getting it if you just wanna play it with friends?

I still have Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, but since it's more or less dead I wanted to check what this game's about and if I can achieve that with this one. Only reason I'd get it is either have fun alone or some good ol Burnout with friends via Steam. Is that possible or should I stay away?

It's basically the same game but with all DLC unlocked, better graphics and a bunch of bugs out of the box.
The online player pool is limited, sometimes you can't even find a single lobby available.
I personally love the game but if you don't have a friend to play online in general, I don't think you should buy it.
By the way, you can't invite Steam friends inside the game. You have to be friends with them in the EA App, which runs simultaneously if you buy the game from Steam.

Ah, I see! So it is actually possible to play it with friends, which is great. As far as I see the EA app is horrible but i might try that :) Thank you!
