What a waste of money
You can find a reddit post where workarounds startup crash can be found.
I'm gonna link it here for @ValentinBk again. Simply go through all the points I mentioned there and your game should run fine after that. Also, this recent update wasn't a patch or anything. It simply made the game compatible with the EA app. So no bugs were fixed, unfortunately.
But if you sure you did all of that, then it's very likely that something else is causing issues with your game. So I recommend you to check out the other points I mentioned in my post... I wish I could just tell you some easy general fix, but there is no one, sadly. Stellar and EA never cared about fixing the Remastered...
You can check that in Task Manager next time you're playing, I guess. And if it's not using your actual graphics card, definitely change that in the Windows settings or in the Nvidia or AMD software. Even on very old graphics cards, you can get stable 60FPS on 1080p. So I'm guessing that BPR just isn't using your actual GPU.
Some of the fixes mentioned in my post might work for the EA app too btw, but I haven't tested them for it specifically.
