Is the no launch bug fixed?
Hey all, I recall seeing some time ago an issue mentioned that if you at all have screen capture software installed (something like OBS, and that is installed, not even active) that the game will refuse to launch. I've seen some mentions of a recent patch here, was that issue fixed by any chance?

Ah yeah, especially the MSI Afterburner overlay can cause issues with BPR. Nice to see you found my Reddit post and managed to fix this though!

I'm gonna link it here for @ValentinBk again. Simply go through all the points I mentioned there and your game should run fine after that. Also, this recent update wasn't a patch or anything. It simply made the game compatible with the EA app. So no bugs were fixed, unfortunately.

You can find a reddit post where workarounds startup crash can be found.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

The game does not start even if you close programs such as "MSI Afterburner, OBS". I have no other programs related to overlays and webcam. Uninstalling OBS didn't help.

Hmm, well closing a program doesn't necessarily mean it's fully closed. Definitely make sure that they aren't running in the background anymore, is what I want to say. Especially Afterburner likes to do that.

But if you sure you did all of that, then it's very likely that something else is causing issues with your game. So I recommend you to check out the other points I mentioned in my post... I wish I could just tell you some easy general fix, but there is no one, sadly. Stellar and EA never cared about fixing the Remastered...

I have the same issue but it will run after 2-3 attempts. My issue is the low performance. Fps stays around 50 on low settings when my pc should be more than capable

Have you checked of the game is actually using your graphics card? Because it happens quite often that the game just uses your integrated graphics chip, which is way too weak to run the game, of course.

You can check that in Task Manager next time you're playing, I guess. And if it's not using your actual graphics card, definitely change that in the Windows settings or in the Nvidia or AMD software. Even on very old graphics cards, you can get stable 60FPS on 1080p. So I'm guessing that BPR just isn't using your actual GPU.

I was able to launch the game through Origin (as administrator), when the MSI Afterburner is closed, the game starts. But through the EA APP, the game does not start in any

Despite what EA is saying, the EA app is not compatible with BPR, at least not fully. I've heard from some of my friends that they were able to run it, but others told me it's not possible. I can't confirm or deny this myself since I'm still on Origin, but I definitely recommend you to use Origin rather than the EA app if possibe...

Some of the fixes mentioned in my post might work for the EA app too btw, but I haven't tested them for it specifically.

Thanks for that. Does Shadowplay cause issues with the game too?

I believe both Shadowplay and the AMD equivilant work with Paradise, so they shouldn't cause any issues with the game! The only recording program that I know causes issues with the game is OBS, but there might be some others that I don't know, of course.

Hmm, try experimenting around with the Audio settings in-game, perhaps. If that doesn't work, it might be a general issue with your output device. Try to change some settings in the Windows audio settings then if changing the in-game settings didn't work.
