game just crashes

i just got this today and just crash after a while of playing it

did it crash after completing an event? did it crash totally randomly? did it crash when pressing the pause button?

1) did you have any issues when you first launched the game until you got out of the garage for the first time?
2) do you have a laptop or a desktop?
3) do you have both an integrated and a dedicated gpu?

I doubt that works. Disabling steam overlay might help.

I have the same problem. I just start the game Then enter, enter and after loading a couple of screens the game closes

Does it crash when "connecting to servers" or at the DMV screen?
1) Disconnect any camera/recording card/vr headset you may have connected to your pc (or disable your laptop webcam if you have a laptop)
2) if your windows username contains non ASCII characters, you'll have to create a new user
3) if you have software like Biggerasoft RivaTuner or DXTory, you have to disable it
4) If you have both an integrated and a dedicated gpu, make sure the game uses the latter

@Dukenator please don't post opinions about things you don't know about. This game has a bug where if your webcam is enabled, you need to disable it in Windows.

I had it working but only on Surf Island but after a few minute it crashes.. you can hear it playing but screen freezes... I tried the disable press M in game then enable Cam option but it didnt work either... Id just like to play the game I bought..
