Burnout crash after a race
I can launch the game without problems, connect to the server, play the game without problems.

BUT...
When I finish a race, a single mission from the "adventure" mode, the game crashes.
Does anyone have the same issue ? And if yes, do you know how I can resolve it ?

Thanks !

OK, had a dig about, what fixed it for me was disabling controller configuration support. In Steam, go to Settings, Controller, General Controller Settings and see if any of the configuration supports are ticked. If so, untick them.

I had the same issue and I tried the following:
- windowed & borderless mode
- turned v-sync on
- messing with the compatibility mode

But all these settings only made the crashes worse. A full re-install fixed my issue, I did the following:
1 - Delete the game from steam
2 - Go to %appdata%/local/CiterionGames and remove the folder burnoutparadiseremasterd (Your progress is safe, since it is stored on origin cloud)
3 - Reinstall the game via steam
4 - Allow access to your firewall (it shows a message in your taskbar)

The game, the menu and alt-tab work without an issue.

Try removing the folder in appdata first if you want to avoid reinstalling the game.

Due to the amount of people messing with game files, it would be best to reinstall the game completly.

But suit yourself:steamhappy:

I have the same issue for moths now and the only thing that fix it on steam with out having to delete the folder in appdata or reinstall the game because i did and the issue percisted.
the solucion i gave you all is in the big picture mode in the page of the game before hiting play you go to the rigth on the controller button an disable the steam input you can leave all the controller chech on for the controllers in the general settings and disable the steam input just for this game and then in the game configuration map the controller
For me it was Discord that was causing the problems, i even had the overlay off, but the game would still crash after a race. The only solution is to quit discord. Maybe it will help you too
