Is it possible to restart an event?

I loved burnout and played some years ago but I didn't finish it because once I lost a race I needed to drive until the place where the race begins in order to try again. When the race was in the mountains was too boring. Did they fix this?

Yes, you can restart your last event using the quick access menu. To launch the quick menu press the right arrow in your gamepad (or num pad 6 if you use a keyboard).

Hit Right on the D-Pad and pick Restart Last Event. You can also do it mid-race if you know you're going to lose.
