Free Remastered version for "Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box" owners?
Why do i need to buy the same game twice? Can you do what Mafia 2: Definitive Edition did: free to owners of the originals on Steam.

The things is this remaster adds the dlc and I think also content that wasn't released on PC before so it's highly unlikely..

It's EA. Don't expect freebies.
Be happy they bothered adding the DLCs to the remaster, unlike the original PC version.
Also, it's just 5 bucks. Worth it for the DLC alone to be fair.

All the DLC included in the remaster version was previously released on PC. The problem is that EA shut down the servers and people were unable to buy the DLC. There were third party tools that would unlock the DLC for you which was the only way people were able to actually access the DLC. People complained for years for EA to sell the DLC again, but, why would EA do that when they can just sell the entire game back to you again?

Big Surf Island and Cops and Robbers was never on PC. The rest were, though.

How about those who own the DVD version (like me) and not the Steam version? That would be unfair as well if Steam users got it for free.

Every old player had those DLC. I have ~ 980 hrs on multiplayer https://steamcommunity.com/id/tkiit/recommended/24740 and I saw 100s players with all DLC. Multiplayer was really fun. But game is really outdated even with "Remastered version". 5 usd is a lot for free DLC.

You could kind of mod/cheat the game to unlock all DLC. This includes the cops and robbers one, and even Big Surf island. I don't know if big surf island worked on multiplayer but you could play it solo with a mod.

Having the Vanilla game on Steam got me the game for $4.99. It's too bad that couldn't be done for XBOX gamers...

You can say it was mod, but almost every player had that mod. when I played online, there were ~ 20 - 30 players always and we all had that mod. If all players were using that mod, so how you can call it "cheat"? We could not buy it on store - it was not available. There was a thread on "Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box" steamcommunity forum "how and where to download it". It had ~ 300 posts or even more. This thread was pinned, so that mod "WAS NOT A CHEAT" my friend.

Not really sure what you're getting all defensive about but okay then. When you can use it to unlock things you shouldn't have to begin with, and all cars in general without playing, you can call it a cheat, but hey, whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Last time I played it ~ 2-3 yrs ago ;D MP was dead. I dont have this new Remastered version - but i think its the same old game with the same old city. Original game was a very fun open world arcade racing game with heaps of races, and things to find/smash. I’ve had a ton of fun playing it in the past. Beat it twice. You have only 30 hrs on record and do you really understand what are you writing? Devs pinned that thread on their own steamcommunity https://steamcommunity.com/app/24740/discussions/ and you are calling it "cheat". Well, that means devs were cheating too
