Crashing after loading screen?

After the loading screen the game keeps crashing. Anyone else having issues?

Yes, I am having the same issue! I don't currently know what to do about it. But I do hope this issue is solved or if there's any patch updates in the future.

My friend just bought the game, and these crashes stopped (for now), when he disabled Steam Overlay for the game.

I had the crash when trying to connect to the servers. In my case I had to go into the NVIDIA control panel, program settings tab, select the game and select my NVIDIA card. Worked after that.

Alright, so I actually just spent an hour trying to get this to work and here is what worked for me.

Launch Origin (I f****** hate origin) and at the top select origin and go into "offline" mode. This will solve the issue of the game freezing from the get go. Now you have to stop it from freezing at the DMV.

Once the intro cinematic finishes it will dump you into the DMV to take a pic for your license. Well this was made for console crap webcams so it WILL NOT WORK ON WINDOWS!

You have to basically disable anything that your PC would consider a web cam. That includes capture cards. I had to disable my Elgato for it to not crash. If it keeps crashing at the DMV part that means that there is still something that your system considers a webcam and will try to use it. Go into your Windows settings, head over to devices and look for anything that either records video or captures video. That means webcams, capture cards, ANYTHING.

Well the picture thing, in the remaster, has only a purpose for the photo of your license which is basically useless. It works for some players and as you said this always was a problem on original. The douches from Stellar did absolutely nothing to fix the recurrent bug and made it even worse now. If the game doesn't crash with it activated then you're lucky and will notice that this ♥♥♥♥ starts itself when you open the playability options menu for no reason..

It was the same to me but then I realized that the game automatically ran me with the built-in intel graphics card so in my case I went to NVIDIA settings and switched it to the NVIDIA card. I hope and it works for you too.

I've had this issue when I got the game.

now..i closed MSI AFTERBURNER + RIVATUNER MONITOR (frame rate on screen) ... and FINALLY ... THIS GAME WORK PERFECT
