how to install mods

so this may be a stupid question, but how does one install mods to a game on steam? i am specifically talking about the zevran romance dialogue fix mod. i am not very tech savvy so any help is appreciated😅

Most of the mods go in your override folder. Download your mods (download folder is fine) and then extract the zip file to your override file (usually C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override). Do it manually, I learned the hard way that Vortex does not work with DA 2.

Tried out more than a decade ago before all the mods release, and ended up refunding it, game is nothing like Origins. Q: Do all the mods make a significant difference to the game? and not possible to install via Steam community workshop?

For future DA2 owners, you gotta launch the game first in order for the folders mentioned above to be created (i've already played it ten times through but wanted to play it again and i'm on a new computer).
