i cant figure out how to open this game full screen any ideas?

Hey mate, don't know if you still need it, but i think i found a solution. Try another resolution. For me 1440x1080 with 4:3 ratio did the thing. Seems like the game have a problem with modern wide monitors.

If you mean the "Windows is preventing fullscreen" bug you can just click okay and then change it to fullscreen again in the menu.

try running the DragonAge2Config.exe located in the bin_ship folder. On the video tab set your resolution and aspect ratio and tick the Play in Full-screen mode box. If you are using your monitor's native resolution I would suggest ticking the "Disable aspect ratio Correction" box also. this seemed to fix the "another app is preventing full screen" problem for me. And you might as well disable intro movies too to skip right to the main menu.
