How do you tell I've got all the DLCs?
It's just showing standard edition in my DLC pack

I recently bought DA 2 Ultimate Edition and was enjoying it. Then I discovered that I couldn't use the DLCs (unauthorized error). I spent hours searching for and trying fixes, and none worked. I contacted EA help and they told me they can't do anything (it's a Steam problem). I contacted Steam help and they said the same thing in reverse (they can't do anything, it's an EA problem).

the dlc is free on EA i used that to download them, works for every dlc except black emporium i had to sail the web to find a BE file that would work

I have the DLCs, that's not the issue. The issue is that they are unplayable (unauthorized). Tried every "fix" I could find on the internet & none of them worked.

I found that website as well, figured out how to download them (via 7 Zip). They still show as unauthorized. My EA account and Steam account are linked, and the DLCs show up on both sides (including Dragon Keep).

when you start the game in the bottom left corner does it say you are linked to a EA account?

if nothing work try this

open the games folder
open the addin folder
inside you should see several files example da2_mtx_war
inside these folders you should see a manifest.xml file
open the manifest file from each folder and find the line that says "RequiresAuthorization" change it from 1 to 0 and hopefully this fixes the authorization issue

I appreciate this info, but unfortunately this did not work for me either.

is your steam linked to your current EA account or an old origin account? when the game is open logging into your current EA account could fix this issue, even if you are try logging out and back in while ingame see if that helps

if that doesnt work try logging into the dragonage keep website
go to the career tab
click dragon age 2 then click the dlc tab
open each DLC individually and try setting it to authorize/unlock or whatever it says

if that still doesnt work you could try this
https://www.reddit.com/r/dragonage/comments/vufsr8/dragon_age_2_dlcs_not_working_no_spoilers/

if none of these work then i am out of solutions

I followed all of your instructions to the letter, and the DLCs are still showing as unauthorized. They appear in my DragonAgeKeep career and are unlocked there (synced them again, no luck). Anyways, I really appreciate your help!
