Another application prevents to run the game in full screen mode.
Anyone else got this whenever starting da2? and how can i fix that. Every time i need to change in settings to full screen.

I was simply launching DA 2 and not pressing anything else, it seems like even popping up Steam during a launch will trigger this.

me 2 i just make it fullscreen and go ahead and play.

yea but you need to do it everytime you launch game again it's mega annoying. i suspect it's that ea ♥♥♥♥ app fault.

I use Borderless Gaming. u can buy it on steam. Play a lot older games and worked everytime

Yeah, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Can't figure out why.

Are you using MSI afterburner?

if you are either don't launch it before you are in game or close it if already running then tab out & (re-)launch afterburner.

if you are not using afterburner are you using anything similar? if so try closing that before launching DA2 might take a bit of experimenting

nope don't use those.

Sorry don't know what other program could be causing it then.

that is what causes the same issue for me though!

may not be related at all but have you tried disabling the overlay in the EA app?

don't know that will make any difference for this issue it is more for when the game doesn't launch but could be worth a go if you haven't tried it already?

Good luck figuring it out
