Nope, it's 100% possible, and they do it with other games. The reason they don't is because EA cares more about money than the people playing their games. They deliberately limit your access to stuff, even though you buy their products, because they want you to spend your money on "their" platform, rather than Steam.

I was literally just about to click the add to cart button, and remembered to check first.

EA sucks.

Not that we're getting them, but hey, we can want! :D

I also have a workaround: play the game, enjoy the story, combat, mechanics, interactions or whatever you enjoy in the game. And then just play something else that has Steam Achievements, solely for Steam Achievements :D

I would like them to show on steam, as well as adding steam cards, Backgrounds and emoji. I know it's silly stuff, but i enjoy it.

Just hit play, when the game on the initall load screen, click Extras. Achievements is one of the options.
