no achievements, no buy. why woudl i install all that crap software for no incentive? I"ll opt for the easiest way every time otherwise.

I didnt buy this old game without achievements as well. And this is true for all the other games. Please add steam achievements for all your re-released game EA. It's 2020 and games should have all features of the platform they are running on

++++ and I will buy at full price

We hit a really weird times where people play games for achievments instead of fun.

They'll never do it. EA is the laziest company. They want your money and they don't want to do anything.

I really want achievements.

I enjoyed playing Dragon Age II on PS3 and Xbox 360 while getting all the trophies/achievements for both.

I don't really have an incentive to buy again now that I'm on PC is there's less content than I had before.

not just achievements, but whole steam integration, more then half of the people won't buy this game cause its still on origin

Yes, we should all play video games but never strive to achieve anything. The true essence of gaming. Achieving nothing.

Doesn't this game already have achievements? DA:O certainly does. They're just not Steam achievements. This is a low effort rerelease and people are disappointed.
DukeoftheAges Jun 4, 2020 @ 4:44pm
or we play it for both

So finishing the game on highest difficulty or with your other own set "achievements" doesn't matter, but pictures with some text on it appearing when you do a certain action is more meaningful?

Don't get me wrong, I like getting achievments too, trying to get that 100% check mark in most of the games I have in my library, but going by "no achievements, no buy" logic is stupid and completely ruins the essence of actually enjoying the game and aspects of it. I know people that go by this logic making achievement hunting literally a part-time job with no payment, completely ignoring everything what game has to offer and just looking down on their list for what to do to get 100%. Just play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and enjoy the story or other parts of the game and stop bashing games on Steam by focusing on meaningless achievments.

Finishing the whole game is already an achievment.
