Strange Question
I'm looking for the opinion input of Mass Effect players. I personally haven't played any Mass Effect games, which is why I need to ask.
I'm writing a story, and I named the main hub of humanity "Sovereign Citadel", which is essentially a large space station. I Googled this in order to see if it was used already, and I believe in the ME world the "Sovereign" are an alien race, and the "Citadel" is like a space station?
Would you, as a fan of Mass Effect, when reading a novel, see the name "Sovereign Citadel" for a space station, and consider it a rip off of ME? Would you find it distracting? Would it make you a little frustrated with the author?

It kind of does sound like a combination of two very important words from ME1 (Sovereign) and the rest of the trilogy (Citadel is central to all of it). But I don't think that it sounds like a rip-off, just a bit weird.

Pretty sure that I would be convinced that this is a reference to Mass Effect.
