Game not working with Gamepad/Controller

I played this before using controller but stopped playing because of some issue I can't remember. Now I'm coming back to it and controller doesn't work at all also all I see for solutions are Nexus mods or something but installing the mod for SP Support and MP Support one or the other causes the option for multiplayer to disappear from the start menu and also doesn't give me any control the only control that works is the start screen now says press start instead of press any key and that works but then only the right thumb stick acts as a mouse and nothing else works. I have to re-install the game now probably because one mod broke the main menu?

Edit: I fixed my issue. Just updating this for any lost souls with the same problem (or me in the future if this happens again)

In Short:
Game doesn't natively support Controllers you should get the ModManager for this game
and install the Multiplayer Controller support mod and it will be everything you need.
