10th Gen or Newer Intel CPU Issue

I understand right now there’s an issue with devices running Intel 10th Gen CPUs where they get stuck in the infinite loop for contacting data centers, and I see the fix being mentioned around. However, I’m very skeptical on the fix itself.

For reference:
If you have a new(ish) or recently(ish) upgraded PC, it's likely to be related to the CPU you have. If it’s a 10th generation Intel processor or later, that would cause it. Is this actually safe to implement? This is messing with the Windows environment variables which raises a red flag for me. Has anyone ran into issues since deploying this workaround?

If you no set up the variable the servers will still locked due to this variable being missing by default in those chips. But is up to you and ik you will say no cuz my steam lvl display as zero to you but like I said in the other thread level doesn't mean anything in steam is just a cosmetic stuff:

Why? cuz due to the steam nature of scammers or trolls, etc better restrict the profile to ppl you know

It will no damage your pc, it will no install weird ♥♥♥♥, it will just tell windows "hey since this is missing let's use this other authentication protocol to allow games authenticate to access internet services"

But in short nope, it doesn't damage your PC in anyway it will just tell windows "hey since this variable is missing let's try this one to authenticate the game connection", intel cpus gen 10th to 13th or beyond lack it so this fixes that, Remember restart the computer so it takes full effect

Same problem happening on 11Th gen too. So technically the subject should say Any 10Th Gen or newer CPU issues. As it's not just the 10Th gen. It's any new CPU in since the 10Th gen. :)
