you'll experience hardcore players as well as new players. And matchmaking seems pretty balanced. I used to play it a lot on console back when it was new. So like riding a bike i get into it pretty quick again. Though. I'm no where near the skill level of the top 2 on both teams in every match. Still. Matches are more so a close tie before someone takes the victor. So i'd say it's playable.
When it comes to hackers. I honestly have no idea. Haven't encountered anyone as far as i've noticed.
Game seems solid and besides from maybe still missing a few players. It feels as it did back when it was new. It's a good game to revisit if you enjoyed it back then. And it's a good game to experience for the first time today.
